Das halbjährliche Highlight ist zurück! Wie in jedem Semester lädt das Queer-Referat zum feierlichen Sektempfang ein – diesmal mit einem schaurig-schönen Twist: Da wir den Semesterstart passenderweise an Halloween feiern, dürfen Kostüme, Grusel und Glitzer nicht fehlen (ihr müsst euch aber auch nicht verkleiden). Eingeladen sind alle queeren Wesen und ihre Freund*innen.

📍 Ort: AStA-Trakt am Campus der Uni Hamburg, Von-Melle-Park 5, Raum 0029 (mit Nebenraum 0039)

• Platz zum Tanzen – je nach Stimmung
• Später am Abend Karaoke-Action für alle Mutigen 🎤

• Sofas zum Plaudern in gemütlicher Atmosphäre
• Große Auswahl an Spielen und queeren Büchern

Bitte testet euch zuhause und kommt nur, wenn ihr negativ seid. Falls ihr keine Tests daheim habt, könnt ihr euch auch vor Ort testen. Es besteht keine Maskenpflicht, wir können bei Bedarf aber einzelne Masken zur Verfügung stellen.

🎭 Dresscode & Stimmung

Das Motto lautet „schaurig schön“ – ob in Grusel-Kostüm, mit glitzernden Accessoires oder ganz entspannt in Alltagskleidung: Kommt so, wie ihr euch wohlfühlt. Wir sorgen für eine passende Deko zwischen Kürbis-Charme und Spuk-Flair.

🌈 Wir freuen uns auf einen Abend voller Begegnungen, Vernetzung und queerer Lebensfreude – für neue Studierende genauso wie für alte Häs*innen. Kommt vorbei, feiert mit uns und lernt das Queer-Referat kennen!

The biannual highlight is back! As in every semester, the Queer Department warmly invites you to our festive sparkling reception – this time with a spooky-sparkly twist: since we’re celebrating the start of the semester right on Halloween, costumes, creepiness and glitter are absolutely welcome (but you don’t have to dress up). All queer folks and their friends are invited.

📍 Location: AStA Wing at the University of Hamburg campus, Von-Melle-Park 5, Room 0029 (with adjoining room 0039)

👻 Program & Highlights

Room 0029
• Seating areas, tables & games
• Snacks & drinks (sparkling wine, beer – alcoholic & non-alcoholic, plus soft drinks)
• Space for dancing – depending on the mood
• Later in the evening: karaoke fun for the brave 🎤

Room 0039 (Queer Department)
• Sofas for chatting in a cosy atmosphere
• Large selection of games and queer books

Room 0044 (InfoCafé)
• Quiet room

• Tactile floor indicators lead to the main entrances of the AStA Wing

• Smoking inside the building is prohibited

😷 Covid Policy

Please test yourself at home and only come if you’re negative. If you don’t have a test at home, you can also test yourself on site. There’s no mask requirement, but we can provide a few masks if needed.

The motto is “spooky & beautiful” – whether in a creepy costume, with glittery accessories, or just comfy in everyday clothes: come as you feel best. We’ll set the mood with decorations that mix pumpkin charm and haunted flair.
